Taco's Journey Started Behind My Couch
When I first brought Taco home as a foster in March 2020, his name was Spring. He had come from a hoarding situation and was terrified. For days, he hid behind my couch, unsure if he could trust his new surroundings.
Slowly, he began to come out of his shell. What started as fostering turned into adoption, and Spring became Taco.
Taco may never be a social butterfly, but he's special in his own way. His journey showed me the incredible impact that rescue organizations can have on a dog's life.
I've continued fostering with CCR and have had the privilege of helping nearly 50 dogs find their way to loving homes. Every dog deserves a second chance, and CCR works tirelessly to make that happen.
