Where Best Friends Meet
Supporting Chicago Canine Rescue does so much for our community! Every day, we welcome dogs who simply need a little extra help finding their next best friend. We partner with local shelters and community members to take in dogs who might need additional time, care, or support before they’re ready for a new home. Once they’re with us, their well-being becomes our priority. After each dog is fully supported socially and medically, we help them find the loving home.
Your generosity makes this possible. Because of you, every dog receives nutritious food tailored to their needs, a full veterinary exam upon intake, up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and any additional care required — just as we’d do for any member of our own family!
Our team is made up of compassionate, trained staff and dedicated volunteers who provide daily care, enrichment, and support. At any given time, our shelter cares for around 35 dogs on site, with more than 20 others thriving in foster homes.
